About the position Joining Post Consumer Brands as the Associate Director of Sales for the Kroger Team means you'll play a key role in shaping the future of iconic brands in partnership with one of the most strategic retailers in the CPG industry. This is a high-impact position where your expertise will influence major business decisions, drive profitable growth, and strengthen long-term relationships with Kroger. Responsibilities • Lead Kroger Relationship: Serve as the primary point of contact for Kroger's merchandising teams, building strong partnerships and aligning strategies to deliver mutual growth. • Drive Strategic Planning: Develop and execute merchandising programs and omnichannel plans that maximize profitability and align with both Post Consumer Brands and Kroger objectives. • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with internal partners-Category Management, Trade Planning, Marketing, Ecomm, Supply Chain, and Finance-to ensure seamless execution of initiatives. • Leverage Data & Insights: Analyze consumer and market data (Stratum/Market6, Circana, 84.51) to identify opportunities, influence decisions, and optimize trade investments. • Lead Cross-Functional Projects: Guide internal teams and Kroger collaborations on key initiatives, including CPI, Kompass, and innovation strategies. • Forecast & Plan: Partner with demand planning and supply chain to ensure accurate sales forecasts and effective inventory management. Requirements • 8+ years in CPG sales/account management with proven success managing Kroger accounts and understanding go-to-market strategies. • Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities. • Exceptional communication-verbal, written, and presentation. • Analytical mindset with experience using syndicated data and trade planning tools. • Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in Nielsen, Circana and Stratum/Market6, Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with AI and analytics platforms is a plus. • Bachelor's degree required. • Passion for winning, collaborative approach, and a drive to create influential partnerships.
