Acting as the primary logistical liaison between client groups and all hotel departments, this role provides strategic coordination, anticipates operational needs, and drives service excellence across every phase of the event lifecycle. The Senior Manager upholds elevated service standards, mentors team members, and ensures that all group requirements are met with precision and professionalism. This position reports directly to the Director of Catering & Conference Services.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead conference planning for complex group events, preparing and reviewing detailed group resumes and ensuring all operational departments receive accurate, timely information. </li><li>Coordinate event logistics including meeting room verification, setup requirements, audiovisual needs, and on‑site adjustments to ensure flawless execution. </li><li>Develop customized menus in partnership with the culinary team to meet client needs and maximize food and beverage revenue. </li><li>Create and manage Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), distribute them to operational teams, and lead daily BEO meetings to ensure alignment. </li><li>Conduct pre‑planning and pre‑conference meetings with clients and department leaders to confirm all event details. </li><li>Serve as primary client liaison throughout the event lifecycle, maintaining availability via phone, email, and in person to resolve issues promptly. </li><li>Forecast event revenue for food, beverage, and guestroom components on a monthly and annual basis. </li><li>Manage vendor relationships and recommend in‑house or preferred partners to enhance event success and drive revenue. </li><li>Support departmental operations including special projects, staff collaboration, and communication with banquet, floor, and housing teams. </li><li>Ensure compliance with hotel policies, service standards, emergency procedures, and guest‑service expectations. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Minimum 3–5 years of conference services experience in a full‑service hotel or resort; senior‑level or leadership experience strongly preferred. </li><li>Strong knowledge of hotel operations including meeting space capacities, event setups, and service standards. </li><li>Proficiency in event‑management systems such as Delphi, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and related platforms. </li><li>Exceptional communication and client‑service skills with the ability to build strong relationships and manage high‑profile accounts. </li><li>Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with the capacity to manage multiple events simultaneously. </li><li>Independent decision‑making and sound judgment in a fast‑paced environment. </li><li>Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams including banquet, culinary, housing, and conference floor staff. </li><li>Flexibility to work on‑site during events, including occasional evenings, weekends, or extended hours as needed. </li><li>Strong problem‑solving skills <br><br></li></ul>Omni Hotels & Resorts Is An Equal Opportunity/AA/Disability/Veteran Employer.
