Commercial Subrogation Manager (Remote in US)

This is a new role heading up a new team and will need to have the experience and ability to create processes and action plans to drive revenue and performance, as well as the ability to work with cross-functional teams to create solutions and resolve issues with commercial clients. Must have experience working with large health plans including insurance carriers, self-funded ERISA plans, and Taft-Hartley funds as well as experience with Medicaid MCO and Medicare Advantage plans. The person in this role will also need to travel into the closest Gainwell office to their location for meetings from time to time. Your role in our mission Deliver all required services in accordance with new commercial business contracts and work with sales to continue to expand and grow that business. Manage a team of subrogation professionals to achieve subrogation recoveries in accordance with revenue goals for commercial clients. Ensure that the team is performing in accordance with all productivity, quality, and compliance goals. Manage a departmental budget by managing staffing and other resources and developing innovations, automations, and processes/workflows which allow us to work smarter and meet all client deliverables. Provide training, coaching and mentoring of staff as appropriate. Work with internal legal department to ensure that the staff is aware of legal doctrines, and rules and regulations that impact the various lines of business in commercial subrogation. Act as an escalation point for internal teams and external clients to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. What we're looking for Bachelor’s degree in business administration and/or 5 years of proven experience managing a subrogation team. Prior experience managing remote teams of 5 or more employees. Experience with commercial subrogation including insurance carriers, self-funded ERISA plans, and Taft-Hartley funds as well as experience with Medicaid MCO and Medicare Advantage plans. Proven ability to work with other internal teams to drive process improvements and achieve revenue goals. Ability to perform in a team environment and motivate staff at all levels while handling pressure, delivering on project deadlines, and managing multiple initiatives. What you should expect in this role This is a full-time permanent regular salaried (W-2) employee position. Monday through Friday work schedule (40 hours per week). Company match 401K and other benefits available within months of starting. New employees are eligible to take advantage of flexible vacation policy after ninety (90) calendar days of employment. Any exception requires manager approval prior to employee's Gainwell start date. Company provided computer for work use. For all hybrid and remote positions employees' Broadband Internet connections, should have a minimum speed of 24MBS download and 8 MBS upload.
