<p><strong><u>Position Details:</u></strong></p><p><strong>Job Title: Senior Director, Invoice to Cash</strong></p><p><strong>Location: Chicago Illinois 60661</strong></p><p><strong>Duration: 6-12+ Month Contract with potential extension/conversion</strong></p><p><strong>Pay rate: $100-110/hr</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Overview:</u></strong></p><p>The <strong>Senior Director, Invoice to Cash</strong> will be responsible for overseeing global Billing, Cash Application, and Collections (Invoice-to-Cash) operations. This role involves designing, standardizing, and optimizing the end-to-end global process across multiple regions and countries.</p><p>As the strategic owner, you will drive transformation, governance, and process excellence in partnership with Sales, Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Technology teams. The goal is to ensure a best-in-class operation that is efficient, compliant, and scalable. The initial focus will be on North American and UK markets before expanding to remaining global operations.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Define and own the global strategy, vision, and roadmap for Invoice-to-Cash (I2C) processes, aligning with business and finance goals.</li><li>Shape enterprise-wide strategies for revenue optimization and operational excellence.</li><li>Drive working capital and cost optimization initiatives to deliver measurable improvements in global cash flow and revenue assurance.</li><li>Establish global process governance, including policies, controls, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).</li><li>Ensure compliance with regional laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.</li><li>Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant transaction processing across multiple geographies.</li><li>Enhance customer experience by addressing inquiries clearly and efficiently through an effective issue resolution model.</li><li>Foster a culture of process discipline and accountability for quality, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.</li><li>Establish governance frameworks to ensure compliance with internal controls and audit standards.</li><li>Lead a high-performing global team of approximately 30 professionals, including senior managers across multiple regions.</li><li>Provide strategic oversight for approximately 130 matrixed professionals within global shared services centers to drive accountability and innovation.</li><li>Partner with executive leadership to align I2C strategy with corporate growth objectives.</li><li>Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.</li><li>Manage strategic relationships with third-party vendors supporting the I2C process; ensure contract compliance and service optimization.</li><li>Act as the key liaison between I2C teams and business stakeholders to align process goals with business needs.</li><li>Oversee audits, compliance checks, and risk mitigation efforts.</li><li>Identify and implement opportunities for process reengineering, automation (AI/RPA), and efficiency enhancements.</li><li>Lead the transformation of I2C tools and technologies to reduce manual intervention.</li><li>Collaborate with IT and Finance to enhance system capabilities, integration, and data accuracy.</li><li>Define, monitor, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), addressing underperformance through root cause analysis.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Qualifications & Experience</u></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA Preferred.</li><li><strong>Experience:</strong> 15+ years of total experience, with at least 8+ years in a global Invoice-to-Cash leadership role within a Shared Services environment. Order-to-Cash operations experience within the Services industry preferred.</li><li><strong>Technical Expertise:</strong> Deep knowledge of the end-to-end I2C process (billing, collections, credit, cash application, and dispute management).</li><li><strong>Systems:</strong> Strong understanding of ERP and automation platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, HighRadius, or similar).
